Default Doe's your V-Force make a noise when shifting

My V-Force makes a chtk noise when I shift it from neutral into drive, or from neutral into reverse is that just the engagment or is there a problem. Thanx

Thats normal. My P650 and 700's do the same thing. Its just the engagement. If it does it real bad you may have your idle set a little high.

Was wondering if you all have removed the linkage from your rear-foot brake to make it easier to engage in reverse? It makes it alot easier to do this way.

I have been thinking about that too. Havent done it yet but i do get sick of having to use the brake to get into reverse all the time.

Removing the cable and linkage only takes a few minutes and makes it alot easier to shift. You'll need a couple of washers to make up the difference when you take off the bracket that holds the linkage cable.... or the bolts will be to long. Later
