Default gas keeps leaking.....help

ok gas keeps coming out of the over flow tube. So I changed the float because I thought it was getting stuck.
Now the gas is still leaking after I put the new float on. What can this be? The bike is a mini tank Lakota.

When you take the float off you will see a valve or plundger that comes to a point up inside the carb and that is what stops the gas flow, and if it gets wore just a little it can make the bike lose gas through the over flow and make it spudder when going over bumps at speed. Check the point where it seals, if the point or tip has any wear on it, it is bad and must be replaced. The tip must be near perfect. I had this happen to me,and that was the problem.

The proper term for this is needle and seat.

Well it could be a couple of different things, this to could be signs of a bad needle and seat also if it does this over bumbs at speed or it could be something as simple as the plug since it was running rich it might have weakened the plug. I would change it first to see if that takes care of your problem... Good Luck.
