I bought 2 new 3000 pound warn winches, I specificly asked for warn mounting kits for my 360 and 650 but the company sent ramsey mounting kits. I installed the mounts but there is no way that the winches will mount, both units do not fit correctly, they rub the frames. I called the company that shipped them and they said that the ramsey will work, I asked them to send me warn mount instead. Do the 3000 pound warns take a different mount than the 2000 and 2500's??

 

The 3000 has the same pattren and does mount the same. I picked up a winch mount for my 650 at the local Cabelas store and it works perfect and was fairly darn easy to install. If you cant get your to work I know the Cabelas one does, you get it and the roller fairlead for about $60.

Holey crap talk about over kill i thought i was overkillen putting a 2500 lb winch on mine now they have 3000 lb winches [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Got a question how long is the cables in your guys winches?
Mine is 50 feet. Does the 3000 lb come with a longer cable??????

 

Still 50 feet on the 3000lbs. Figure you can never have too much Winch... I love it, used it twice to pull friends out and it really did save the day!
