I have a Prarie 360 and wanted to trade up to a 650. I just started doing some dune riding and need more power. They showed me the KFX700 and let me take it for a spin, I fell in love with it. I do most of my riding on mountain trails, but nothing real extreme. If I need to go somewhere that required 4 wheel drive I have another machine for that. So will the KFX700 perform well on dunes as well as mountain trails? My wife if much less experienced so the trails we ride are pretty calm. I guess I just want to make sure I won't be buying a machine thats only good in 2 locations where I live. I want a trail machine as well. The Prairie 650 seems like a little over kill because I don't live on a farm and have never needed to pack gear with my machines or haul hay or a trailer.

It is a wonderful machine ..... I hear you will paddle tires on the rear for the sand .....
I know that the stock tires will do great on the trails.

I have a P650 ... a great trail machine also ..... for a 4x4. Now that I have had the
KFX for three weeks ...... I wonder how the P650 became so slow !!!! you know
what I mean.


When I want to pull trailers, push snow, etc .... I love my P650.

When I want to ride the trails ... WoW what a feeling the KFX gives !

 

I have one of each as well. The 650, which until 3 weeks ago was the love of my life, is now my yard work/snow ridin' machine. The 700 is my off of the ground, through the woods, hill climbing, soil myself machine.

You have all convinced me. Now I need to sell my 360 and convince the wife (in that order). I haven't stoped thinking about that machine since I rode it.
