I cannot believe people think that the V-Force sucks because it is wieghs more than any other sport quad, has a shaft, and is automatic must mean that it sucks! Well that is not true
I own one and can tell you that it is a very capapable quad. Its funny how the people who rant about the V are the people that havent even drove one at all,or at most in a parkinglot.
Well it does wieght in at 516lbs. but it feels every bit of a 400 pound quad.Im not saying it is flawless, but it is pretty damn close.Dont worry, you will have plenty of time to gripe about my shaft, cause that is all you will EVER SEE.

Welllll, it don't feel like a 400 pound quad for sure! The z/kfx are so light feeling after the 'beefForce'. They feel like toys.lol. I love the way the Vforce feels, balanced, stable, comfortable. As soon as i figure out how to make it turn, i think i could be faster than on the 'cannondale. The 700 really does feel like a MAN's quad.

In the Grand Scheme of things, the KFX700's weight doesn't mean Nadda, unless you plan on having it land on you. I could care less if it weighs 400lbs or 600lbs. What matters to me is how does it ride, handle and accelerate. The answer to all of these questions is GREAT.
So if you want to talk B.S., the whole issue of this quads weight is irrelevant.
I'm in Shock, and Amazed, imagine that, some actual B.S. going on on these Forums. This certainly is a first.

weight is VERY important... it's one of the components that determines how good the quad will handle... on the ground and in the air
I certainly wouldn't want to try anything daring in the air with a V-Force... or get into a situation on a steep off-camber hill crest where I HAVE to manuever or shift the quads weight around in order to save it...
under any cercumstances that I can think of (except riding in wet snow) I would prefer to have the lightest possible quad... especially when it lands on top of you...
and would you rather land a big jump on 374lb. quad, or a 516lb. quad??? which one do you think will bottom out harder???
think about it
I guess it really all depends on what type of riding you do that determines whether or not the V-Force's weight is really an issue or not...
but I have to admint... the power, looks, and thought of not having to shift, just gun-it & go, really tempts me.... I'd probably get one, or would have had a DS by now, if they didn't weigh so much........ I like my sport quads under 400lbs., and my 4x4's under 600lbs.
