My 4 cylinder Chevy S-10 has a higher top speed than the 700. But I don't want to bust out on a big jump with that either. I've read that V700 has similar drag speeds to a Raptor. So Kawasaki has made a machine that has similar performance to an existing quad, yet weighs over a hundred pounds more. Sounds like real progress. What inovation. But it does have an automatic transmission just like a Polaris.
I'm just kidding and I'm sure it's a great machine. And I can't wait to ride one. But I like my jumps and you can't throw a 516 utility, I mean sport quad around very well. And I prefer my gears and clutch.

516 Dry, which should put it in the 530 to 540 range Wet.
Trust me, the KFX700 is like a Fat Ballerina, it doesn't know that it is heavy, and isn't supposed to be able to stand on it's toes.
From someone that owns both (KFX700 & 400) the 700 is every bit as much of a Sport Quad as the 400.

that's some funny $h!t RPM lol lmao
I'm curious about the 700
I always thought my next quad would be a Raptor.... but I'm considering a 700.... I hate holeshot tires.... they suck in the mud...
so maybe some 22" mudsharks on the rear would help out, as well as increase the top speed, and help the front end to not left as much...
also wondering if the dual exhaust will really help performance..... and wondering if spring / clutch changes would be an improvement?
who knows..... maybe I'll post another topic and ask these questions
the only thing I really don't like is the weight.... I like to hill climb and jump... and when I crash (not too often) I want as little weight as possible on top of my old bones... lol
