Changing the Jets on a 700
#1
I have seen posts saying that changing the jets in this bike is easy. I have changed hundeds of jets on Keihens amd Mikuni's in snnowmobiles. How does this differ on my Big Orange beast???
Thanks!

I have never changed a snow mobile .... I can only compare it to a Rappy or the P650.
I say it is easy because I didn't have to remove any thing but the bowls
PS ... I am told that the neddles are not adjustable in these carbs.

on a non adjustable needle you can shim them, ether with standard dynojet shims, suzuki carb shims, or a #4 washer
I have shimmed non adjustable needles to .060, roughly on adjustable needles each clip position is .040
hope this helps.. some folks also cut a notch in the stock needles with a dremel tool (chuck the needle in the dremel tool & hold it to the cutting wheel..)
