Force, you are correct.
I have had years of clutch tuning experiance and the bottom line is, there is no sense making great HP at the crank if the clutch is not delivering it. Lots of unused HP can be gained by a properly dialed in clutch. BUT if you have the clutch dialed in AND a set of good pipes, you are that much better off!!. A power curve with peak RPM/HP is required as well as a good tach to ensure you motor goes to the power peak and sits there through all speeds.

I don't know if I can justify $1000 for an exhaust when I can get the HMF for $500 and then spend $500 on a bigger set of carbs or bigger cams or higher comp. pistons. I'm a big Yoshi fan, but unless they're claiming in the vicinity of 15HP, I'm going to have to pass.

I told myself I'd hold out for the Yoshi duals. Today I called and they quoted me $825 for the stainless and $950 for the titanium. Major bummer!... too much for me.
I called Pro Circuit also. They would not give me any pricing. I was told they would have production ready for sales in about two weeks.
So far the HMF at $500 isn't looking too bad.
