I modded the airbox lid similar to shaneb but used a bunch of small holes instead of 2 big ones. I made my own snorkle. I was going to run with out it but i do alot fo trail riding and wanted to make sure i was keeping out splashing water.

Very much like the result of the dial a jets ..... the air box mods was to use the slide vents from the dial a jet
people. I needed two of them with the combination of the larger jets and the dial a jets.

The result is that the bike is still very smooth .... no hesitations at any speed range ... lots more power.
It would always lift the front coming out of a tight turn ...............but now it will lift the front at speeds 10 to
15 MPH faster than before. It increased the 300-600 foot distance preformance by about two quad lengths.

I also bought the slide vents did you install them in the lid, also do you have to install the bigger jets and then the dial a jets I'am receiving them today but I don't know much about how they work. Also what elevation are you at and did you leave the bike a little lean like dial a jet recommends or did you jet it right on. I have the HMF pipe on right now but they forgot the jets so it is running lean and not really any more power. I hope the dial a jets wake the quad back up. Thanx for your help
