Default P650 Tires and Wheels

Hello,

I am a proud new owner of a 2003 Prairie 650 4x4 Camo. Two weeks old today. This is my first ATV so I don't know a lot about them but am learning thanks to all of you. I am getting ready to buy new tires and have decided to go with ITP Mud Lites 27x10x12 for the front and 27X12X12 for the rear. My question is will these tires mount onto the stock rims without any problems? I have been looking for rims but all I have found are crome and aluminum and I don't think I would like them on my Camo ATV. Black would be OK, but I haven't found a manufacturer that makes a all black rim.

Thanks for your help and any other suggestions would be appriciated.

The 27" mudlites will mount right on the stock rims .I have Been running them for three months with no problems except for my buddies whining about the traction they give .....lol

Welcome to the forum. Itp offers black rims in their delta-x series. The site is www.itptires.com. I thought they offered the c-series in all black as well but I couldn't find a listing for them, that would look very sharp. Enjoy your new ride.

I put ITP aluminum wheels and 589's on my camo 650 and think it helped the looks. Try this link to see a picture.http://www.texasboars.com/photopost/...x.jpeg-med.jpg

Unless you are running deeep mud, you could go with Kenda Bear Claws, Dirt Devils, Maxxis Shur-traks. I like fast trail riding in the Appalachian Mtns., and the Holeshot ATR's work VERY well for my uses. I run ITP "C" series wheels, very strong and light, BUT I do not think that they a normally available in any finish, but natural, and polished aluminum. You could have 'em powder coated, or painted. Good luck in your search.

ITP, makes a black C-series wheel I have a set on my camo 650 and they look awsome. You can get them at www.atvoutfitters.net. They might not list the black ones yet since they are so new, but thats where I got mine. Also they are running a special on them, if you buy the wheels and tires there is FREE shipping. Good Luck
