Rear Diff

Default Rear Diff

I have noticed after a long ride that the rear axle going into the diff that there is oily dirt around there,there is no diff oil on the garage floor and the oil is staying clean inside the diff.Is it the seal going and can a guy still ride it if he keeps an eye on it?Also anyone know what this may cost a guy to get fixed,If your behind the bike looking at it the oil is coming from the left side of the diff.Any info would be greatful I need the bike for the may long weekend!!!!!!!

Default Rear Diff

Mine has been doing the same thing for several months, except on the right side. On the left side you can replace the outer seal only,,but on the right side your have to replace the flange assembly, (seal not serviced seperately ??)
