I have a LT80 here that will be for sale.
We're a long ways away tho.
I've been to Glamis 3 times.

The best thing you can do with a small engine like that is airing down your tires substantially, I have a 90cc engine atv with lowered air pressure and it runs great.

Remember the 80 ATV two stroke is not the crazy motor Kawasaki puts in there KX80 motocross with power kips exhaust valve or Reed values. Or its COMPRESSION RATIO http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/en...ehicleCode=931
The 80 kfx is much tamer. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...icleCode=13257

Well heres my .02 worth my son is an 80lb 6yr old (not fat just a big boy).
he rides a 96 lt80 with the following mods; DG pipe, #100 main, uni filter in the stock box, front clutch 4 rollers approx 36 grams, with the 180gr shoe mod as well.
this thing runs great! will slip the cute lil 5 hauler paddles he has or a 19x8x8 dirt tire with ease.
This is a great place to read up and learn.

Does it run real rich with the 100 main jet? Stock main jet is 92.5 which is already too fat.Have you tried any other jets?Just seems like you would get a little better performance with a little leaner main.

Mine still has the oil injection and runs strong with the 100.
With the pipe and aircleaner mods I don't think 2 sizes up is too fat. Plug color is good as well
