05 viper90 not starting

Cool 05 viper90 not starting
Sons' atv won't start, brake lights work. took cover off and starter turns as does starter wheel,thats it. no engagement could it be starter clutch??

Welcome to the forums.
I'd touch a direct 12 volt supply to the starter connection and make sure that part of it is OK.
If it's not poor voltage, it's the starter.
