choke/ enricher

I was wondering if any of the experts here have a fix for a 2 stroke 50cc kasea fuel enricher bypass or can I feed it power from the stator I have a 5 wire 3wire plug/2 single wires, if this is possible what wires would I use for power? I have the ATV as bare minimum so no lights, battery, etc. Thank you in advance, don't want to get another Carb if I don't have to I have a keihin on it now.

Electric chokes didn't work worth a flip even with a battery. Easiest way to start one is to block off the air duct tube with your thumb. This allows more fuel for quick starts as these small engines just don't have that much vacuum when cold to pull fuel mixture in.Once warm usually they'll crank right back up. Had this same problem on the first year Polaris youth models (Kasea) and same thing on the later Eton based units that followed.Manual choke conversion kits didn't help that much either. Starting problems were much better when the 4 stroke youth models came out.

Yea I noticed that when I placed my finger over the enriched hole it started right up but the mixture between air and fuel was off, it surged in acceleration then fell, and would not accelerate when given throttle, it would just bog down. So I'm guessing a manual choke Carb is needed.

From what little I remember on the first little ones they were some where around 65-75 on the main jets, but being a Kasea, could be a little different.Plenty of cheap manual choke carbs on Ebay that basically fit most all the brands of small 2 strokes.http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-2005-2006-Carburetor-POLARIS-50-PREDATOR-MANUAL-CHOKE-CARB-NEW-/200815597821?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec18ad8fd&vxp=mtr
