Default Sportman 90 Wont start (MUD!)

TOday i went quading and my quad is all messed up (sportman 90 CDI)(2 Stroke). Ok well i was quading in MUD! lots of it. and if u ever saw a sportman 90 the filter thingy is right by the front tire. well i was idling there for a little bit and the quad stalled and wouldnt start. so i brought it to a place there and they cleaned the filer becuase of the mud. So i countiued riding and the same thing happened. We got pretty fed up so we went home. We fixed it again and it worked find *before dinner*We came back from dinner and it wouldnt start. We tried to clean the filter and bolt it back on. I think the problem is that dirt got in the piston and carbertor. Could this be? Also would i need to get a new piston and carberator?? THanks in Advance

Well 1st off dont take a 90cc quad in the mud they just not made for that. 2nd buy a kit or weld somthing to cover the front like a metal plate or somthing like that.and if u got mud in ur carb or piston thats really bad u gotta clean it good.

unbolt the filter? yeah that will work but if u got mud in your carb that can cuase probelems so make sure you clean then both good. I doubt any mud got in ur engine. just hose it off good and clean the filter and carb. it should start right up then.
