Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
I put the 2.5" wheel spacers on my sons LT80. It's just what this quad needs. Now I'm pondering shocks. Kasea 90's for the front? And a Works for the rear? I know what's stock is down right dangerous at speed. Anybody have any input on this?

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
I now have The JL Lucky Front End Extenders on my 6 year olds LT80, 18X8X9.50 Turf Tamers on the rear, K&N Air Filter, FMF Fatty Pipe w/Power Core 2 Silencer...AWSOME, he feels much more confident turning and doing donuts. I will soon get Works Shocks Front & Rear, AC Racing Nerf Bars, AC Racing Front Bumper, I'm also thinking of going with KX60 Handlebars and changing over to a twist throttle... seems like a lot for this little bike, but he's only 35 lbs at 6, and I think he'll be able to ride this one for at least a few years... and if need be we can do some engine and clutch mods to get him more if he needs it. Has anyone tried putting the KX60 Handlebars onto this quad? I'm also thinking of cutting the front fenders to allow for more frontal visability and to make it look more like the Big quads, has anyone cut their front fenders? Also doing away with the Oil Injection system and running Pre-Mix 32-1, has anyone done this and do you need blockoff plates???

Question for LT80 and others regarding LT80 wheel spacers
RickyA,
Sound like you have an awesome quad for the young one. I'm really looking at safety. If anyone is interested I used the CRJ wheel spacers. Here is the web site. http://www.crjperformance.com/
I got the 5" and they are awesome, customer service was also top notch. I swear you can not tip this thing over now. Now the shocks need some work. Work's, Kasea shocks, who knows? THe works are just a heap of money and if the Kasea's are ok then why spend the money. I just don't know and the web is so mixed with good information and just plain BS it's hard to sort through it all. I trust member LT80's information on this board, he seems to be highly respected and actually helped me out after we first got our bike with a fuel problem.
Also I killed the oil injection early on. I run the Amsoil 100:1 Synthetic mix and have never had a problem. Very little smoke with tons of putting around. My son is about 48 pounds and has a few years left on this bike. Then his little brother will have it. So this bike will be used for a lot of years in the family. This is what's making me think about ordering the Work's and just spending the money. I'm pretty sure the day is coming that he will race this quad as well. The power of the bike isn't a problem right now and in fact I have to cork it up a little to keep it safe and sane on the trails.
