LT 50 Mods?

Well the filter will really increase the top end mine seems to just keep building power on the top. I think it makes it rev at least 750 rpm more than stock. But this filter should not be used unless you have a pipe and also have at least a 65 main jet . But with the combo of the three you'll be very happy.
(Filter had the best power increase of all mods.)
The filter From K@N part#RU-0200 is a universal filter that is sold by the dim. of the filter its self.
so to make it work you have to remove the whole filter assembly. You need to cut the part that screws to the carb. right before it opens up to the circle. You should be left with a oval that is 1 inch wide by 2 inch high then you slide the K@N over that oval and tighten the clamp. the filter should almost look like it is right on the carb. You might have to remove the oil injector to im not sure I put the filter on after i removed the injector sys.

the quad will run way to lean unless you change the main jet to get more fuel. you cant add air if you dont add fuel. Then if you do that you will at least take the sparkarrestor off the stock pipe. if you have the cash I would get all three. My four year old wouldnt even ride this thing If I put it back to stock he loves the power. so i think your five year old would like it to.

The nerfs are on an they look great!!!! This mod took a little more work than exp. The nerfs were 15 in. wide so i had to extend the swingarm 3 in. a good buddie of mine works at a fab shop so i took off the swing arm and added 3 in. and then painted it aluminum cant even tell it looks better now than ever. When i did this i also put 2 in. wheel spacers. My son loves it , it went from stock length n with to 3in longer n 4in wider and his favorite thing about this last mod is most def. the nerfs he loves them. when you look at the quad it looks like the coolest mini lt 250 you ever seen with the engine open you can also see the pipe n K@N filter. wish i knew how to put pics on my page would post them cant figure it out. Well let you know how the little 50 n my 4 year old do at the track there both ready.

Hey Thats me!
I have had email dramers so had to change now quadmad_kev@yahoo.com.au I am happy to help anyone.
Lance you can contact me by phone anytime just phone +61 412 557 977 .
Hey here is a handy hint for all you guys, with the clutch use Polaris 90 springs and that will up the revs before the clutch grabs.....it does help. my spacer helps heaps also.
Another thing.....use fity (CRF50, Thumpstar, SDG etc) shocks as the stock shocks dont work. there is so much you can do to this little machine.
