none???!!..... You sure you don't mean DS 50!! And TRex would probably agree that a Banshee is gonna be way to much for a 6 and 7 year old. If the rider can't raise up and have a visible space between them and the saddle (seat ), then they are to small for the bike!

Trish,
I started my son on a Kawasaki KFX50 when he was 4.5 years old. Here are the reasons:
1 - Seating position (He was able to sit upright with his feet flat on the foot rests.)
2 - Handlebar position (Of all the ATVs we looked at, He was able to steer the KFX50 the easiest.)
3 - Throttle Adjuster (Most all the small ATVs come with this. The KFX50 also has a restricter plate on the exhaust. I removed this shortly after the purchase.)
4 - Stable (The KFX50 is very stable for the smaller riders to learn on at it's max speed of about 15mph.)
5 - Kill Tether (Walk behind Kill tether, have never needed it.)
6 - It's GREEN (It matches my KFX700 VForce! LOL)
Note: The Kawasaki is identical to the Suzuki. Also some Kawasaki/Suzuki dealers will NOT sell the ATV to you if you tell them that your kid is under 6 years old. (Not that it affects you...) Either of the 50cc units will run you about 2 grand.
The only thing that I DID NOT like about the Kawasaki/Suzuki was NO headlight or taillights.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I am thinking this would be a good Christmas present so it might be a little while before I buy. It helps to have all this first-hand experience so I will know what to look for.

Trish- you can't go wrong with the LT80 from Suzuki. It is also available at a Kawasaki dealer as a KFX80. I have 2 friends with LT80's for their kids, one who started at about 7-8 with no problem. The kids are now 11 and are still able to putt around good on the 80, where the 50 would be way too small. I would not go with anything smaller than an 80. They would quickly become bored and outgrow the small machine. Eton has had good reviews and is a little less expensive up front, but the Suzuki has a great resale value for when the girls outgrow it.
My daughter just turned 3 and I plan to get the LT50, only because she can reach the footpegs better. She has recently mastered steering the tricycle and I can't wait to get her motorized.
