My scrambler 90 brake light stays on bright as if the lever were engaged. Engaging the lever makes no change in the light. While the quad is running and without the parking brake clip in place, the brake light is supposed to go out. Any ideas?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

Our 50 does the same thing. Didn't notice it until it wouldn't start. Battery was ok. Found the wire from the left handlebar, unplugged it and everything worked fine. We decided we have a short in the wire that is supposed to keep the thing from starting without the brake engaged. Has been starting ok for months but the brake light is always on. If there was more room underneath, I'd spend time looking for the short but it's kindof crowed under there. If it doesn't start, I just use the kick start.
