I have been trying to find this green CDI wire that I can cut to impove to top end. I think that I have found the CDI unit but I dont see any green wires coming out of it. Do I need to remove a cover or something. The only other green wires that I can find is one for the oil light and one that goes into the top of the oil tank. If someone could tell me were to find this wire I would apperciate it.

 

My daughter has the 2003 viper and the green wire on it is located on the back side of the cdi box. The wire is just a loop and is only an 1" to 1 1/2" long. If you are standing in front of the machine the cdi box should be located on the right hand side near the fender. If look on the back side of the cdi, which is held in place by a rubber holder, you should find your green wire.

 

I have 99 model Txl-50 that does not have a green wire. What model is the one that cant find his.
