I went out and got this bike and am trying to make it faster sence we race it .I took out the clip in cdi
cut the head .065 comp is 145 now geared up to a 19 front gear instead of 15 gear also went to 6.5 rollers and had to change the belt on it because it was to short went with the 90 belt now bike went from 13mph on flats to 20mph a good gane but still not as fast as most stock one . is there a pipe for this bike and if any one knows where polaris got this one from so i can get mods for what it relly is. thank you for your help.

 

20MPH without a pipe is good for a 50... Stock they are limited to 15.

Does it seem like it still bumps up against a rev limiter? You may need to get another CDI fir it that does not have a rev limiter at all (dunno if this one does that or not after you remove the clip).

My guess is it's a Aeon Mini-Cobra. Aeon made the Polaris ATV's (along with the Alpha Sports) in the past. I have heard rumors that Polaris bought or invested in Aoen in teh past year or so.

A pipe is going to be hard to find, since that one is a smaller frame than a normal 50/90 chassis.

Other mods would be gears from a 90cc quad (haven't tried this yet), and a smaller rear sprocket. You can probably get one of the 70cc kits for that engine too.

How do you like that quad? I'm looking at maybe getting one of them for my littlest one in a year or 2. What sort of racing do you do with it?
