Lt50a Wont Idle
Help!!! I did some of the upgrades on the lt50a like remove the restrictors in the exhaust and intake, and I drilled some holes in the airbox. But now the quad wont idle and is hard to start. It does have lots of power now. I did not do any carb work, like removing the top jet and or replacing the main jet. Does anyone know if this has to be done and do you think this is why it wont Idle. Thanks Mike

You added air, but now you need to add fuel, that's where the jetting comes in.
Start with removing the stacked pilot jet, you may also need to adjust the needle height and the air screw.
It's likely that using the choke will help it start right now, as that adds a bunch of fuel. That's a quick test to see if it's too lean.
