Default Bought ds90 for kids.

Well I just bought 2 ds90's for my kids for Christmas.I sold my Ski-Doo and decided not to get another snowmobile and get the kids a four wheeler instead.I shopped around a bit and found I could get the best deal on the ds90.Most dealerships give the old THERE'S NO MARK UP ON THESE THINGS and the price you see is the price you get.So the ds90's were on sale for 1800 (200 off)and the dealership threw in a helmet for each.I have a boy who will be 9 in Jan. and has wanted one for some time.So it wouldn't have been fair if he got one without getting my daughter one who is 10.I hope she will take to it.I liked the Eton viper 90 but the dealership is well over an hour away and cost was a little more but I didn't want to deal with a long distance dealer in case of problems and didn't have any on hand to check out.I hope I made the right choice, they will be riding on my property for the most part.Any information on the ds90(good or bad) would be appreciated. There both 2-strokes.

Thanks
Rick

Too bad you had to give up the sled but your kids will love you for it. Maybe they will let you take a turn every now and then.

The suspension is REALLY stiff!!! We tried for 6 months to soften it up ( big people riding them) and they never changed! Can't rebuild the shocks and couldn't find any aftermarket one's made or any that would fit. Ran good though...........
