kproy1965,

They have one of these machines at our local farm store and it been sitting there for as long as I can remember. The price is right at $ 2799.99 but I would be scared to buy one because of the no parts and service availability.

It would have to be severely under powered because the weight of this machine is around 525 pounds or more.

It reminds me of a polaris

Chet

kproy1965, RAPTORYFM660r is correct about the weight and repairs. Find out if you have a Madami dealer
anywhere around your area before buying one. There are other low cost ATVs available too that you should look at if you are interested, Like Red Cat, Kazuma, QJ, ect. But the key is having a local service &
parts dealer. And note that none of these units are made for rough, high speed, usage. But from what I have seen of the few that are around my area, they are solid and rugged units.

OMG,

I was way off on the weight: Dry Weight 616 lbs.

And the prices vary quite a bit after doing a search and for our local place to be $2799.99 there plenty of profit built in for the below stores.

1. Back To Gallery Next Madami Big Daddy 260 ATV. $3395.00. ...

2. MADAMI BIG DADDY 260: OUR PRICE: $3,999; 4-STROKE, LIQUID COOLED ENGINE;
AUTOMATIC CVT TRANSMISSION WITH REVERSE, HIGH LOW GEAR, SHAFT DRIVE;

3.Price: $3149

thanks for the info. i really appreciate it! i am certainly in agreement on the parts availability and service. the outlet i am in contact with tells me parts are available. and are offering 1 year warranty. but of course this could eventually be an extreme hassle!!! however on the other side the price is extremly appealing , around 2500.00 , still undecide! if anyone has more info i could use please advise.
thanks kproy1965

Wells here my story I recently bought a Big Rex by madami, ran twice and Had tranny problems took to shop. And they can not get parts or new trannys. So they suggested i upgrade to a Big daddy. They say its built in taiwan, not china as the big rex was. Well guys out there what do you think i should do?
They also say its a totally different tranny. Anyone have any knowledge of these trannys?

You would be better off finding a good used Jap bike or Polaris. Trust me you want to stay as far away from these off brands as you can!! I have a $1600 pile of crap in my trailer from Kazuma and now we have a Pred 90 so my son can keep riding!! Parts can be impossible to get and I would bet you will need parts. on the other hand it looks like they started cloning Polaris's.

i would definitely not get one of these. stick to these brands:

suzuki
kawasaki
honda
yamaha
polaris
bombardier
arctic cat

no offense to you if you like this machine. just definitely not my machine.
