Thanks to Zgirl2 I have found a really good deal on a new 03 predator. Does anyone know any differences besides the color and chain tensioner? .......thanks, Mark

 

The chain tensioner issue has been resolved on the 04. Polaris. The color for the 03 is silver and I believe the Troy Lee was also an option supposedly it was a limited edtion or something. For 04 The Troy Lee is the only option. The Plastics are cheap if you choose to change it or have to replace it.

I haven't bought it yet, but the add you posted for the Mt. Sterling dealer in Ky. is where I found it. I think they said they had 15 of these left!!!! I also found the 04 at a Tenn. dealer for $2200 no tax. I like the color of the 03 better, but if I can get the 04 for less total cost I will just settle for black since it comes with the factory tensioner. I will purchase one of these on Saturday. Thank you very much for your help. I was going to just go get a kfx 80 but your enthusiasm for the predator got me looking again[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I do think it is more stable than a stock 80 and looks much better. If it is nearly as reliable it will be great.

 

There are LOTS of changes and updates on the 04 Predator. Pick up a mag and read about the changes on the 04 Pred.

 

The only differences they list on their website is color and horn, not sure if 03 has horn.....website here

 

Negative on the horn for the 03. I wish it had a horn!
