has anyone removed the airbox from there eton viper 90's and installed a clamp on filter and jetting? IF anyone has done this did it give much improvement. The 90 runs great stock but I would like to get a little more our of it without going into to great of an expense.

Your not getting much help here so I'll add my 02 cents. If you trail ride a lot the open air filter can be a bit of a pain located right behind the front wheel. You can get a cover to protect it (sort of a tube) but mud and dirt and water are tough to keep out.You will also probably need to rejet to compensate for the extra air flow.

i removed the air box and went to a open filter. use a k&n universal filter and jet it up. you can also cut the green loop coming out of the ignition box this is the rev limiter.its on the back side of it.i also bought a pipe from hetricks racing www.hetrickracing.com. this made a major improvment on top end but lost some bottom end
