low rpm shes a pig,it will prob outrun a blaster on a flat long run, with the stock clutch it won't pull a 2nd gear holeshot if that answers your question, just barely will with the pipe and clutch mods.remember this motr is designed to turn in th 11,000 plus rpm range and its a twin cyl it takes a while to get there.if you like a cool sounding bike it has a sound a unique as the banshee..

you should tell your friend to gear down the 250 . They are street legal in europe so they com factory with a high top speed, and slow acceleration. On the track that the your friend races how fast does he get up to. if he only reaches a speed of like 45mph gear it down so that it only has a top speed of 50mph he might get good acceleration.
ALSO CAN THEAS MOTORS REALY TURN 11,000RPM

Good idea, NEVER TRUST A MAGAZINE....(cept for atv-sport). i have that issue of atv-action, and ill just put it this way, any mag that says a 250ex is better than a mojave is indeed a CRAP_MAG. only an idiot would believe what they make up...i mean write.
Ive done research on the skyhawk over the net from owners and non-bias testers and yes it is a bit underpowered for a twin-250. But there are 3 good things about the quad,
1----it only costs $2999 the last time i checked ?? but i dont know what it costs now.
2----it has the same frame as a blaster so there are TONS of frame upgrades availible (ie shocks, a-arms, swingarm, axle...blablabla)
3----this is the best feature, it has lots of hop-up potential. there is a 350 kit "supposed" to be availible for it, and a few different exhaust systems (SUPPOSEDLY).
so you can build up a awesome skyhawk for the same price as its competitors (250ex, z-250, mojave, blaster) but in the end you will own them all...depending on your riding skills. i almost baught one myself, but none where availible and didnt want to wait any longer, so i got a blaster. but the skyhawk 250 makes a good Mod-quad because of the low price and engine design.

Im right here . "supposedly".......Trinity were the ones who said they where working on the 350 big bore kit for the skyhawk. but those liars have yet to produce it, thats a good thing tho since trinity charges as much for their engine kits as a brand new quad (sometimes more haha). another thing, is that i have yet to see an exhaust as well? whats up with these companies, the 250 has been out over a year now and NOTHING is availible for performance parts?. im sure Custom stuff can be made tho, at a great cost ofcourse! this stuff is hard to search for, most of the search engines i use are RETARDED, and bring up everything BUT what i want lmao!! yes Ronnies was the place that made that awesome MX Skyhawk 250 and 80. im sure they can build them for customers, but the cost would be rediculous id bet!
