Finally, the parents have been able to convince the powers to be in District 3 to let youth quads race at the D3 events this year. This is a trial year only. Stipulatations are that we need at least five quads at each race. They are letting the youths run one moto during the intermission (which, by the way, is how the 50cc dirt bikes got their start in D3). The 50cc and 90cc class will run together (most likely with a staggered start).They still have a few more details to work out, but anyone in the D3 region who travels elsewhere so their kids can race, or who have wanted to check out youth racing, come support this so that they will make it a regular class next year.
