Jack,
While you're out on the west coast, come on out to the Oregon Dunes. I'll be more than happy to ride with you for a few days. Good Luck!!!

LT80,

I am new to this website but so far it appears you seem to be the person to talk to on lt80 mods. I have a 01 with a dg pipe and jetted. My daughter needs more out of the bike. We only dune ride but at least once a month. We ride mostly Sand Mountain, Dumont, Pismo and Glamis. I had the starter finally go out this prez weekend at dumont. A friend of ours has the same bike but ported and bored .020 over. This bike runs well. Can you contact me on your recommendations. I would like to keep the electric starter on it but I am going to pick-up a pull starter just in case I have starter problems again I will be able to keep her riding. Thanks

Lt80 Is your man!!! I also dune and just came back from buttercup. Lt80 has done some work on mine after I had mine big bored. Let me tell you...my little lt80 flys up competition hill with no problems at all. I even let my 105# boy try it and he also made it up comp......Lt80 has a stock bore with a stock pipe and his bike just kicks my tale end....The big bore in my opinion is a big waste of money after seeing what he can do with these stock set ups.....Lt80 just doctored mine up after someone else did the big bore. PM lt80 he will sure take good care of you and a hell of a nice guy also.
