Default LT 80 questions

I know this question has been asked before but I have not been on this forum for quit some time now. I know that you can get more ponies from an LT80 with clutch mods, but which mods are best. Are they mods which can be done by a normal joe or is this something that should be done by someone in the know. Question #2, has anyone wired in a dead man switch on an LT80. My kids are racing in the Adelanto Grand Prix on Feb., and I have ordered two Pro design kill switches. I have not recieved them yet so I do not know how good the instructions are. Any help would be great.

Default LT 80 questions

If you search this site for clutch mods, or LT80 mods,etc..,you should see some info. I searched about 20 pages last PM looking for the answer to my Q about exhaust restictors and never found my answer, but I'm sure I saw your topic more than once. Just a guess, but after something gets asked repeatedly,I think folks tire of answering it, because I didn't get any replies to some of the Q's I asked.

On the switch; generally, any switch usually involves cutting only one wire and the 2 cut ends go on either side of the switch. When it's closed, current runs through, and open- it stops the current. So, just a matter of finding the correct wire. No grounding required. Should be super simple.
