I looked at an LT50 but i think the Eton viper 50 wipes the floor with it....my kids love it...easy to derestrict once they have full control and a MUCH better bike after derestricting

just my thoughts. we bought a suzuki 50 and if all you are going to do is ride it your FLAT front yard it will ok. other than that they are not worth a dime. no power at all.

If your boy is 5 or older get an 80 or 90 and restrict its speed to accomodate his ridding skills. Your boy will be able to grow into the machine with mods. and the removal of restrictor devices. The 50 is great quad for a young begginer but I have found they outgrow them skill wise very fast.

Drr, Kasea, Eton and the Dinli are great choices for the 50. You know what your kid can handle so the 90 maybe an option for you to look into. They can be limited to run as slow as a 50. The wheel size is what seprates the 50 from the 90. Of course CC also.
If you are looking into the 90 the choices above are all great choices.....My personal favorite is the Polaris predator 90.
