HELLLLLP!!!!!!!!
My sons quad was spitting metal shavings out {prior to it smelling hot} this all took place while it was warming up at an idle.I took the top end off and everything looks fine piston and rings look and feel good, cylinder is smooth and no signs of break down. What should I be looking at???I'm thinking the reeds
went for a spin in the engine,Would my guess be right??After this all took place the motor bound right up,
and wouldn't turn over,it made like a binding noise like the starter was being obstructed.HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!THANK YOU ALL WHO RESPOND!

The reeds don't usually bind the motor up. I'm thinking rod bearings. It'd be nice for you if I was wrong as the steel reeds do crack and break. Take the head and pipe off so you can remove the cylinder. This should tell all
