Does anyone have advice or comments on the aftermarket ignition system with the lighter flywheel? Has anyone used one and if so, was there much gain in power? Thanks

 

I have used the moto-plat (discontinued) and a PVL. The motor revs quicker and shuts down quicker but it takes an expierienced rider to tell the difference.
The problem arrising now is that NGK does NOT make non resistor plugs anymore and the ignitions dont put out the voltage required to fire the resistor plugs at their potential.
The LT's ignition is a good one. Lighten the flywheel some. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
FYI: I was using B8HVX and now I have BR8HIV plugs to replace the other.The I is for Iridium and NGK says it fires better than the platinum w/resistor
