Hi,

I want to remove the carb from my daughters yamaha 4 zinger, but there is a pipe connecting the carb to a plastic box which I do not know how to remove. I do not know if the pipe slips off, or screws off. What is the plastic box for? Oil injection? Any help greatly appreciated.

Most likely the oil injection. You should be able to tell by what is in the plastic container. You can pull it and drain it into another container, or use something to block the flow.

 

i know it's a little late and you probably figured it out by now just in case you haven't the carb slips off and the black box sounds like the airbox
