Default Kowasaki vs eton

Hello
I'm new to this forum. I hope I can get some help with a question. I have 2 kids that are ready to move up to an 80/90 machine. They had been riding 50's last year and I'm comfortable they can handle the bigger machines. The only problem I have is which type. I had planned on buying them Kowasaki's kfx 80s but after checking prices on the eton viper 90s I realize can save at least $1,500.00 on two. Is this saving worth it or should I stick with the Kowasaki's.
Thanks.

I'm assuming the Kawi's are the same as the Suzuki Lt 80s.We've been very happy with our Viper and for that kind of savings I would definetly buy the Vipers no question.

Get the Vipers. You will be very happy with them and your kids will like the way they look.

Owners of these machines seem to be satisfied and the Upgrades are endless when you want more power.

Goodluck!

The little 90 Viper will be fast enough as it comes. If not just change the final drive gears. If you plan on hop-ups later then stay away from the reverse gear model.

DRR what are you talking about? The reverse is electronic. The engine runs backwards. There is no weak transmission,it should be the same as the older models except it won't allow the clutches to shift out in reverse (to prevent full speed in reverse).

I bought my youngest son an Eton 50 Viper last year and he runs the heck out of it and we haven't had one problem with the bike yet. it is a very well built machine. I'm trying to modify it a bit now. We've had many bikes over the years and the Eton is as tough or tougher than all the rest.
