Default Predator 90 vs Breeze 125

this is the question here we have a Breeze 125 motor is getting just a little tired. Debating if we are going to rebuild and try to pump up the power or just buy a Predator 90. I am wondering how well the predator does in the Dunes with a pipe and minor mods. We were ridding the Dunes this weekend and the breeze just didn't have enough power to keep the tire speed going up any of the bigger dunes and had trouble with the smaller ones if she didn't get a good run at them. I would look at bigger quads but she is really small for 13 about the same size as the average 9 or 10 year old girl. I like the smaller quad because she can ride it more aggressively. I know the Predator weighs about 90 pounds less than the Breeze plus being 2 stroke verses 4 stroke for the breeze. Just looking for opinions before I sink several hundred dollars into the Breeze, rebuild and pipe. So any Predator experts let me know what you think she want to be able to make it up a pretty steep Dune and still be a good machine on trails. What kind of speed can I expect if I do modest mods on a predator. I know the Breeze was able to hit just over 40mph on flat ground last summer. Any ideas on building a breeze motor such as if anyone makes a bigger jug for it etc. Help me out before I waste money on the wrong one.

These are just my opinions as I have no experience with the breeze. The stock predator with all restrictors removed will do around 30 mph so your giving up 10 mph stock for stock.Next the predator can definitely be made to go quite a bit faster but then your getting into a racing type engine. It sounds to me like you just want something reliable that can climb your dunes and not have to worry about jetting etc.The 4 stroke motor in the Breeze should have more bottom end torque which is good for climbing.I'm not sure what is available for a Breeze as far as performance parts.A better flowing intake and exhaust would be good places to start. As far as the handling thats a tough one.If she handles the breeze good now and is happy with it I would work with the breeze.

my 7 year old daughter rides a pred 90 with sand tires and oil injection bypass as the only mod and she does great. While she hasnt tested any really steep hills, she has yet to get stuck to where it wasnt forced by rider error. Our predator is faster than the modded (piped, jetted) lt80. I think youll like the choice.

Hey we got a kid down here racing a stock power predator 90 and smoking alot of the modded bikes including mine He used to have a breeze and doesnt ride it anymore if that tells ya something. From what i seen you would be thrilled with the pred 90 especially if ya did any mods to it.
