do a search of this forum on each model. There is great info already posted here on each model. I did that and ended up getting two E-ton Viper 90's because of the positive impute here.

Same as some of the posts above.....my kid's 04' Pred 90 is awesome. Very fast even with my 170lb butt on it. The Fuel tank/oil tank bracket is a problem....the weld broke a month ago. I didn't bother to bring it in....I sanded around the bracket and NEATLY applied JB Weld. Sanded it down after it was dry and painted it....can't even tell it was ever broken and much stronger than the way they welded it (tried like hell to snap it off with my hands and the bracket didn't even budge...hurt my hands).

Thanks for the tip on the JB Weld. I didn't know the stuff worked so good. Let us know if continues to work on the Predator. I love the machine but I'm very concerned over the welds.

gotta reitarate the fact that it is not really a weld that is braking. It is the tab itself because it was welded about a 1/4 inch up to high. We have not had any weld problems with the frame, it was the bracket itself that broke

A friend of mine in the north San Diego area has an ETON Viper 90 for his little guy. He's told me the thing runs excellent and his boy rips that mini around. I was considering the ETON, but the Polaris dealer was a little closer to me. Based on input from this forum, I think both choices are acceptable. The 05 ETON with reverse will be a good option for the rugrats. My girls are having a great time buzzing through our open property. It’s fun to teach and watch those little one’s ride.

All I can tell you is if you take the plastic off of the '03 Predator 90 and my '02 Eton 90 you probably could not tell the difference. I actually use my local Polaris dealer to get parts for my eton. I just order the same part for the Predator and it fits.

I found a broken weld on our's while removing the oil tank. When looked under the seat you can see that the weld is to high. There was a sticker under the seat at 1 time but it is all scraped off due to the weld rubbing against it.

I advise everyone to go check your predator's for this problem.

I have had the 05 Eton 90 for about a month now. The kids have put about 15 hours on it. Other than having to replace the gasket it has been great. The reverse is a nice bonus. It also has the CDI box wich is adjustable. The kids love the red flashing front light and the horn to drive every one crazy. I ordered the front lights but have not recieved them yet. I weigh in at 235 and took a gps unit with me and got the machine up to 26.3 mph on a flat road. Who knows how accurate the gps is though. For the $300 I saved buying the Eton I got sand tires, wheels, helmet and some gas money. Good luck...............

well i went out and bought the 04 Predator 90...I talked to the dealer and questioned him about the problems with the welds and such, he showed me a eairler model 04 and then showed me the differences on the one that i got (late model) the bracket is a tad lower and there seems to be gussets on some of the other weak points.

For what it is worth i went and looked at the LEMS, Kaseas, ETONS, and the Polaris...i have to say that they all looked the same (plastic removed), and from what i can tell i woud bet that alot of parts are interchangable.

As far as performance, this thing is great, great suspension travel, great egros for kids, and the list goes on.

Down side, no reverse (though dont think it is necessary on a 200lb quad...though time will tell), no lights (but there are TONS of companies that sell kits for these), and no foot brake (i really wanted this to teach my son how to use the foot brake for the rear brakes), i am looking for a company that sells a conversion (i am sure someone does).

As far as price, i Paid 1799.00 OTD for the polaris, I told the dealer that i would go down the street and buy a eton for 1800.00 and he matched the price...

I will post reviews as time goes on..
