I have read alot about cutting the wire on the back of the cdi box to gain more rpms.My question is on my sons 99 txl 90 I can't find any wire on the back of the cdi. Could this model not be equipted with a rev limiter or am I just not looking in the right spot. I also am looking for opinions on which pipe seems to be the best suited for this unit and what size carb upgrade would be best(to get rid of the electric choke). Thanks

 

the green wire loop that ya hear em talking about is only on the 50cc CDI, not on the 90 . Its handy cos once the wire is cut, ya can put a on/off switch in the loop and switch the PRM Limiter on and off.

 

My boy's 04 90 has a green wire.

 

but if ya cut the green wire on a 90 its doesnt make any difference
