Does anyone know who makes the best mods for the Pred 90? I'm specifically thinking about smaller rear sprockets, pipes, and cdi. Any help would be great!

Welcome to this forum. We don't see "1" post very often. I've delt with Billy for a few of our Performance Upgrade parts. Very knowledgeable person who really knows his stuff. He was "right on the button" for our unique riding conditions.

If you are on less then survial income (like my single income family), you can also purchase univeral parts from other dealers, off e-bay or from other sellers. Universal parts such as sprockets, air filter upgrade, CDI (if you know what to look for) etc. are very common market place items. For performance upgrade parts that need to be bundled, definately "partner" with a specialized dealer. If you improperly mix / match individual performance parts (re: pipe upgrades, clutch, etc.), you could run the risk of obtaining lower then factory performance gains. Obtaining a proper balance of what part must go with another part is very critical - if you are trying to obtain maximum performance value for your dollar.

Find a good dealer and stick with him / her for the entire "long run". At times, their specialized experience is priceless.

Good advice Spike, but I was thinking that particular cdi had a jumper in it that you can remove.

 

There are some simple mods that you can do yourself at home....Wow! I sound like Martha Stewart. Anyway, removing the jumper is #1 and use throttle screw to adjust speed. #2 brake levers can be made to use easier with a stop bolt. Small hands less pullback my kid loves the levers now. # remove Oil injector system you can do that yourself. You will need a new single Throttle cable which runs about $20.00-25.00. There are a few that cost little to no money at all.

Anything above that as far as performance then Mr. Billy Holt of WRHRACING.COM is your man. Hands down.

So how are you guys gonna fire those 500$ ignitions now that NGK does NOT make a non resister plug and the ignitions require a non resistor plug??
