Junior lost the keys to his lt80. Is there an obvious or easy fix for this? can a new key be reproduced without one of the old ones? local dealership is closed tell tuesday, just hoping someone has some good info for me. thanks

What he said. 2 of mine have bypassed the ignition. On ours, it is simply a grounding kill switch on the non-electric start bike. Not sure about bikes with electric starters.

 

If your not in favor of hot wiring it, I could look in the archives. I think I have a switch w/key here I could let ya have.

 

take the switch to a key shop they can make a key for like 12 bucks. have had it done a couple of times. there are numbers on the switch they can make a key from.

they have those spring like key chains i put those on the kids keys and attach it to the bikes also makes them easier to find. plus i have a key ring of spare keys.
