how to wheelie a raptor 80
grindkin570,
If you can do wheelies with a "surplus" little mini-quad in your back yard all day long instead of spending time at the bars, stealing cars, doing drugs or doing other criminal things, then "go for it!!!!". At age 18, there are much worst things you could do. Have fun today because in a few more years, life could become very hard on you. While you are still young, have fun and build many "remember the old days..." positive stories..... Just like my, "remember the old days I could do wheelies on my motocross unit. Now that was fun...." memories.
BTW: Wear a helmet, back protection and gloves. At age 17, I seen my buddy do a 100 feet wheelie down at gravel road doing 50 mph, hit a pot hole and went right over. Safety equipment does reduce long term road contact scars....

how to wheelie a raptor 80
ok, maybe this post is a little old but all you have to do is out one (or 2) feet on the grab bar, gas and then pull up. this works for me in 1st and 2nd gear easily. once you get the hang of it you can do some pretty cool stuff. while your in a wheelie put one foot back on the peg and it balances out really nice. as far as sitting down and doing a wheelie i havent been able to yet. maybe if you get it up by standing on the grab bar first and then try and sit down from there??? as for reving the engine and poping it into gear.... i wouldnt do it. it also depends on how much you weigh. i only weigh about 130. my uncle is about 260 and can wheelie his son's raptor 80 just by setting it in 1st, gasing it and leaning back. try using the left handlebar brake (rear brakes) if you get it up too far. a little put will set you back nicely. i dont know about breaking the swingarm or anything. im pretty light so i asume i wont break it but im open to anyones advise.what damage could it do. i think its a lot of fun as long as you dont screw your lil bro's ride. my lil bro has a raptor 80 too so yeah.............
