My name is Cody and i am 8 years old i know how to powerboost. can someone give me some tips on drag racing i race in the sand most of the time i like to go up hill when i race. thankyou- cody.

just line up side by side look to make sure no one is in the way, then put your rear brke on and give it a little gas , look at the other racer and do a head tilt to tell them your ready and they tilt to say there ready and then it is go. or if you can get some one to start you. if they jump you real bad don't go make them come back and start fair. you can only do that a couple of times though you have to get good at the start. other than that someone has to start might as well be you. have fun, i'll watch for those fast 80''s on the oregon dunes.

I asked my son Cody what he meant by powerboosting? I thought he was trying to use it as another way of saying powerbraking. He told me that it wasn't that, that he knew what powerbraking was duh. So I said alright smarty tell me what powerboosting is, He said,"that is my racing secret DAD!" Try this old trick of mine. When you are lined up with someone, oh let's say Carly for instance. Point to something behind them and say look over there. When they turn around, you take off. You'll take them every time. Other than that keep practicing. Get out as much as posible and be safe!!!!
