For a Pred-90 racing muffler and associated bundled parts to maximize the performance of the "racing muffler", you may want to contact: Billy Holt @ WRH Racing - billy.holt@wrhracing.com

If you upgrade the muffler, you should upgrade the air filter. If you upgrade the air filter, you should upgrade the reeds. If you upgrade the airflow through the engine, you'll want to install a Clutch upgrade. If you do this, you'll need to install an upgrade CDI - to obtain "above factory" RPMs on the engine. Due to higher RPMs, you'll also want to remove the Oil Injection system, and install a single throttle cable. If you do all this, you "may" need to upgrade the Carb on the Pred-90 as well.

Give Billy, Hetricks or Dave from BNC Racing ( dave@BnCracing.com ) a call. They'll get you going in the right direction. Both Billy & Dave have helped me out many times, and always went the extra mile for me.

Before upgrading, check with your racing track officials first. Some tracks have strict policies on what you can and can't upgrade - for the class your young rider is in.

Hope this helps....

I forgot to mention...

If you see a "Racing Pipe for a Pred-90" for sale on E-Bay or in your local newspaper paper, try to post its picture within this forum. Some pipes are labeled "racing pipes" but all they do is make lots of noise. Without the other upgraded parts, a racing pipe is sometimes worst then a stock pipe (on the Pred-90 brand). If you are going into some serious racing (re: more then racing your buddies down the trails), you want to ensure you're getting a good one.... The folks on this forum can help....

all the upgrades that spike mentioned help performance but thay do not have to be done all at once. for a pipe you will have to put in a clutch kit and replace the cdi. the stock filter and airbox will work but you will get more performance with different reeds, carb and filter. call billy at wrh and he can set you up with a pipe, clutch kit, main jet and new new cdi that will drasticaly improve the performance. this package will make your predator a totally different animal.
