Fitted the 3" screw over type spaces and wow what a difference, the quads are now MUCH more stable. Well worth doing.

Let us know later, if you would, how they hold up. Also do they look high in quality?

quadduck, there's been tons of previous posts and chat about the durablue spacers, and no one has ever complained about breaking one. if you PM fishslab, he made his own extension kit for like $5 in parts and an hour of messing around. Personally, i think they are a great idea, i just think $50 for a set of studs (for 2 wheels only!!) is like prison-rape.

does everyone extend BOTH front and rear? I was told if you do only 1 end, do the front.

Confused you are right to a degree as on codys lt 80 it is 100 percent fabricated, very low dollar stuff. However not everyone posesses the time or skill to do this, and on your childs quad not everyone is willing to experiment.

I assume if they don't wanna cheaper fix, they'll just go buy it pre-fabbed. i'm just trying to offer cheaper alternatives, like many others have for me (the Banshee petcock saved me $100 over buying the LT80 one from Suzuki dealer).

yer right, some folk are better off buying the kits, and to many, $$ is no object.I guess i assume everyone is like me and disgusted every time they hafta open their wallet for a quad part..... it's outrageous, and worse here than in the US. we get some kinda extra mark-up, cuz i check the on-line microfiche sites and those are full-pop pricing, and we're paying quite a bit more than that (after factoring in the exchange).

overall tho, the folks on these forums give some great advice from practical experience.

too funny! actually, i just bought some LT160 parts off Ebay and had them shipped to a buddy's place in Mukilteo. (a lot of guys don't wanna ship to Canada, and EVERYTHING is tied up at Customs for days on end). my uncle lives in Everett. problem is, both places are still way too far to make it worthwhile to run down and get my parts. it would be awesome to have a good buddy in Blaine or Bellingham, then it'd be no big deal to go across to pick up little stuff. i still wouldn't want to smuggle big ticket items, I'd either pay the duty or stay down the required time. we try to order ahead for our annual trip (well, this year will be 2nd annual) to Oregon dunes. last year i got alum rims and tires for less than 1/2 what I'd pay here, plus full alum. skids. I'm only 15 min from border. NOW, I need a manual and it'll cost $42 here, $25 on-line. frustrating.

HEEEYYYYY, where's Rochester?? j/k!

I spent every summer just off of Exit 77, Pe Ell, my aunt had a farm in Doty/Dryad area, near the Chehalis river. She was on Hwy 20 to Raymond, but before Pe Ell. Some of my best memories are from down there. but now you're DEFINITELY ruled out for mail drop!!

we went to/will go to again.... Florence, OR and stayed at Honeyman park. some of the atv club guys take a run down to Winchester, but we had enough problems doing the hills in Florence, and were told winchester is much steeper stuff. None of my family have paddles, but this year we'll probably get the kids paddles for their stuff. it's fun for a week, but i'd rather be trail riding and finding mud, rocks, creeks, etc..
