Welcome to this forum. We don't see "1" post very often.
I'm not too sure about the stator output of the Scrambler 90. I do know the Predator 90's Stator system has a max output of 75 watts. If you drive with low RPMs, then install a 20 watt light. If you drive with mid range RPMs, then install a 35 watt light system, and if you drive above 1/2 throttle most of the time, then install a 55 watt watt bulb. We have a 35 watt bulb in the front of our Pred-90 and rarely does it drain its battery. If the Stator output on your Scrambler 90 is simular to the Pred-90, then go with a 20 watt or 35 watt on your front light. If you can, try the 35 watt bulb + tail light for a while. If it works, GREAT!!! If it drains your battery too much, then downgrade to a 20 watt bulb in its head light. Or, install a 20 watt bulb & low watt tail light now. What ever works best for you.
I was thinking about re-wiring the tail light on our Pred-90 so it would be a combo brake & Tail light as well. After some thought, I decided NOT to activeate a tail light. The reason is, I was worried the "always on" bulb in the factory tail light casing might melt its plastic. I could drill a few vent holes in its plastic lens (where the holes can't been seen) but was worried about water getting in. We do lots of water & mud riding and water inside the light lens creates long term problems. Besides that, we've only drove our Pred-90 in the dark 3 times. When the sun goes down in a bush, it turns dark way too quickly. Thus, direct 15 minute run back to our trailer without running into a tree.
Hope this helps...

Thanks, that helps a lot. On the tail light install a LED replacement bulb, you can find them for about $6.00 on up. They are Low Heat, Low Amp Draw, and 3 time as bright. I have a Scrambler 500 that I installed one on and it works great just go with a good one, they will have 2 leads on each LED. So it will take the jarring, and bumps. I wired my Aux foot pedal on the 500 no problems. Again, thanks for the input.

When you've completed your project, please send us pictures and associated details. I'm always trying to find ways to make our Pred-90 even better. Especially when it comes to safety features like daytime running lights.
