Has any decision been made on splitting up the 90cc production class into two different age groups for next year.

The age range is 8-15. They also allow 13-15 year olds to run the 200c class. (either a blaster, 250ex, 300ex or the like) What age are you looking for?

talked to doug morris [the atva BIG DOG] at the atv show in kentucky and they are going to split the 90 production in 2 classes but cant remember the exact age but 8-11 and 12-15 sounds correct, also some very sound rumors about a 70 production class for 05 so go to atvaonline and look or ask them to be 1000% sure. Best of luck to all. I know it was good for my 8 year old to race against 15 year old kids the experience was great but man they are as big as i am and some are very very fast.

I geuss my question is, if you have a 13,14 or 15 year old racing, why would you put them on a 90cc? The way the atva rules state, a production quad must start with a stock frame and stock engine cases, for the frame. I know there are alot of shifter quads out there racing, but if you go by the rules, they should run a class higher, or different all together. In which case, you could run a Blaster or 300ex in the next class. I've done alot of checking in the last 2 weeks trying to get some facts straight for next year and thats the way I read the atva rules. Now I have no idea how different tracks around will handle the rules. I know for a fact the GNCC has been a mess trying to figure out who can run what where.

Has anyone heard about raising the limit on four-strokes to 125cc in the 90 classes? Heard that floating around the pits at the TT National in Brashear, Tx.
