Default Jianshe Mtn. Lion 400 4x4

I heard that Jianshe has a Mtn. Lion 400 4x4 coming out in a few months. Does anyone know anything about this ATV? I tried searching for it, but didn't really find anything. From what I understand, this will be the first Chinese 4x4. I might consider buying one when it comes out, but I'd like to know a little more about it. I guess they have a 250 Mtn. Lion that's been out for a few years. Anyone own a Jianshe? Are they reliable?

A friend of mine owns a Mtn. Lion 250, and he's happy with it. No problems. Very reliable.

I don't know much about the 400. But I was told it's gonna cost about $3500.

I would say for that price to look at a eiger or bruin for another 1000.00 bucks Especially the Eiger It always wins the budget class 4x4 shootouts. Or at least wait untill they have been out for a while.

ditto quadduck....wait till they've been out awhile...especially chinese manufaturing. their first runs tend to be atrocious...then they slowly improve (anyone own a Kasea mighty-mite???-I did. could be worst quad ever made, now i hear their stuff is awesome).

that'd almost be funny if it wasn't 100% true! the chinese are great at copying. i wonder if they'll ever design something, or come up with a creative or innovative idea. i'd guess they'll copy a belt-drive unit like Yamaha Kodiak 400.

I have the new Mountain Lion from Jianshe it is a 400 CC semi auto 4x4. I have it for testing in Canada. It is a knock off of the Yamaha Kodiak/Big Bear. It is a very sharp looking atv just have to put a few miles on it yet.

The only thing I can say is make sure the warranty is parts and labour. The engine is knocking bad on the one I got and know ones knows where the noise is coming from. I have attempted to get feedback from the manufacturer but with no luck. So if it goes the labour will be very costly to open it up so make sure its covered.

Good Luck.

Is it possible you take some pictures of the quad? I'd like to see it, especially the tires and suspension and well just the quad in general.
