Honest opinions, reviews for Kazuma 50?

Hello all,
I'm looking for a small quad for my lil bro, he's absolutely obssesed with them, even more so than me. I think he is ready for one, he outgrew and ended up destroying his PowerWheels so he needs a real one. I've been searching through pricing some of these Chinese/Taiwanese quads and have come to the conclusiont hat the Kazuma KMZ50 is the cheapest. I just hope it isn't cheap in both sense's, if ya know what I mean I'm looking for some customer reviews. I've searched through some old posts and hear some good things about them, than other's that would like to throw their's off a cliff. Also, parts availability is very important, can you even get replacement parts for these little things? Appreciate any info you can give.

Like you, reliability and parts availability are at the top of my selection criteria. I know that some things accidently break (because of the pounding of one's unique riding conditions) and maintenance items do need to be replaced on a yearly or bi-yearly basis. Regardless of the brand, each of our minis need ongoing parts. Brake pads, air filters, chain / sprockets, etc. It's something that each of us can't avoid.
Based on many of the postings I've read about the Kazuma brand, I know "for sure" this brand would NOT be one of my top 5 brands to select from. For the Kazuma brand, I've read way too many "help me - it won't go" or "help me - it's broke" postings on this forum, and many other forums. Perhaps they are a great brand with lots of individual lemons (???), but there's way too many negative / help me posts for my comfort zone.
Hope this helps...

kazuma 500c is the biggest piece of junk i have ever owned.problems----new carburator, starter first 2 weeks---since new battery ,new kill switch on handle bar,new cdi box ,new coil, broke dust covers, gas tank leaks, light had to be replaced, seat wont fit.and know its broke down and nobody knows the problem. and if anyone buys one is doing what i did wasting alot money for headaches.beware pay more for a yamaha its cheaper in the long run.

I have not had any faults with our kazuma 50 ? maybe my daughter is not riding it hard enough ? I went through the whole bike before I would let her on it and found a few things the guys did not do correctly during the assembly of it ( rectified those myself, I do own a few tools ). Tuned the carb and it starts right up for me and my little girl. Maybe we are not in the "norm" but we love ours !!!

i have two kazuma 50 for my grandkids, they are 6 and 7 years old, the biggest problems we have is shifting, its ok shifting to a higher gear just push down on the shifter ,but going high to a lower gear their feet doesn't have enough streight to pull up on the shifter, they hafta use their hands, our biggest problem was the handle bar switch, both quit running after riding in the rain and mud for two days, i called a few dealers to try and find the problem, they couldn't or wouldn't help because i brought them off of e-bay, found out of red cat motors web site, they had a service notice, all i had to is unplug the wire from the switch, runs great after that, the other problems we had was when one of the kids flip theirs,it broke the intake manifold, lucky i already knew about that problem and had a spare, also had to replace the chains,om are real junk, we went with the rk pro racing chain, our kazuma 50s take a real beating,i would buy them again what else could get for about $500 and have them have so much fun, even the japs quads have their problems too, they not all perfect.
