yamaha badger rims and tires

Default yamaha badger rims and tires

I wont to give my son's badger a little more ground clearence. Can anyone tell me how or the largest rim and tire size I can put on his 95 badger.

Default yamaha badger rims and tires

Biggest problem with the Badger and Raptor80 tires are the rears are on a 7" dia rim. There are not many tire choices for a 7" rim. Douglas makes some nice aluminum wheels that are 8" diameter for these, then your tire options are almost endless. Something to think about with the tires, a good front tire for a full size quad, can make a good rear tire for a mini. They are taller, but not nearly as wide, or heavy, which really helps in the power department. I've seen badgers with 21" front tires on the rear. Don't know how it performed or what was needed to clear them but they were on there.

Thanks for the help. I will look into it. Anything is better than the 7's on it now my son said.
