The stator system on the Pred-90 has a generation output of 12V with a MAX of 70 watts. Not too sure of the exact range but its something like 10W at idle and max 70 at full throttle. To keep the battery charged, divde by 50%. So, 35W is a good starting point. If you "put put" speed around, then go with a max of 20W light(s). Not too sure of the power drain of LED lights you are looking at.

For headlights, you can install a Single light in the top center of the hood, or dual lights. For a picture of dual lights, surf: - Press Here -

Some even modify the Pred-90's fake lights to hold 10w (or 20w) bulbs in each factory eye. If you are interested in this method, PM me.

Hope this helps...

yeah i saw where dude did it with beer cans....best job ive seen yet...but i was thinking led because all you would need is a whole behind the fake light and a small bracket to hold the light in....much simplier and faster ii woould think...

I can tell you that LED's dont take alot of power at all but the problem is that you would need alot of them to shine bright and far ahead. I am a Toyota mechanic and I use flashlights, hoodlights and penlights at work everyday. I have a flashlight that has 8 led's in it and when looking at it, it is very bright. You cant look into the light. BUTT it does not shine very far. You would be better off going to walmart and get a cheap set of fog or driving lights and mount one on the handlebars. I would not go over 35watts. My sons new Redcat 110 has 2 lights that are 20watts each. They work pretty well. Same charging system as the Predator.

I installed the WARN 35 watt back up light as a headlight and it works very well. Anything over 35 watts will kill the battery.

The headlights on the Yamoto 150 just are not that bright. What bulbs (part#? higher wattage) can you put in there to increase brightness without killing the battery or burning wires?
